All make a compelling case that the genre is indeed not a fad with an expiration date, but rather a timeless concept of art that yet still has to reach its peak - or arguably, still on a steady climb in its current trajectory. However, some of synthwave’s leading artists retain a strong anchor in maintaining the longevity of the genre by staying true to the foundations of its culture.
